They are looking to build a new stadium next to the Olympic Stadion. Similar type of stadium and capacity to BM. Plans to have it built by 2025 but seems to have gone quiet. Guessing thats partly due to 777

I'm around the 8k mark, so I'll probably just miss it!

I doubt we will have that many new ST at BMD. Some current holders will move into the premium offerings and that will allow space for some more to come of the waiting list.

Perhaps 3-4k in total might move off it getting it to around 40k ST/hospitality and allow near 10k GA.

Surely it will have to be 3000 as a minimum, as per PL requirements for all stadiums with a 30,000+ capacity?

I think we all need to enjoy what will be one of the very best stadia in European football first before we start concerning ourselves with expansion.

It's mad how different people see the club, I can't imagine us even filling the stadium we're getting in a couple of years time when the novelty wears off, never mind a bigger one!

To put it in perspective for those moaning about the size...never in our history have we had an average gate of 53k or more*

I know there's a huge waiting list now, but that's only shot up the past few years since the build started. So no doubt lots will be on the list to see Goodisons final years as well as the start of BMD. I'm sure that number will fall significantly once pricing is revealed / the novelty wears off in a few years. Particularly if we're still gash on the field.

* note - I realise some of the attendances figures quoted in the days of pay on the gate were 'dubious'.
