New Everton Stadium

Simple seeds sown by machine into plant plugs & grown on to be planted by the exact mm apart grown under fleece - no grass seed sown directly broadcast as some stated .... almost artificial grass pitch on sand with pop up sprinklers for irrigation .....
Joey, lad, I’m not biting because there’s nothing in it for me.

Either you’re involved in a fishing expedition, in which case I wish you bon voyage, or you’re being serious and I’d feel bad about arguing with a man who struggles with reality.

Just been past and the row of lights on the West Stand are currently pale pink. Just a thought, but what would they look like with one lamp blue, next one white and so on for the full length? Might look like a long old fashioned bar scarf from when I was a lad.

Yes mate, I've seen escalators from ground level to level 1 (which I'm assuming is to that nice long concourse with the views overlooking the city) from there though, it's a long walk up to your seat if your at the back of the upper South 😆
Thanks for that info, will see how far back our seats are.
Am sure it won’t be as bad as Newcastle away, with the endless steps!

Wonder if they'll light it up in tandem with the three graces, town hall, St George's Hall and the tower etc for certain days and events. And yes, that would mean red too!

Looks quite bare in places tbh - but once established it will be fine the blanket was Horticultural white fleece to protect the young grass shoots pre plant grass plugs I did state à % of artifical grass to be involved every aspect of preparing that pitch has been carried out by machinery not sown grass the spacing of the grass plugs is exact .in positining.....hi tech stuff!

10% of the pitch will be synthetic fibres. The fibres are stitched 180mm deep into the ground.

The seeds were sown on-site, and germinated under the germination cover. Then the synthetic turf company have come in to 'stitch' the fibres into the ground. Every single natural blade of grass on that pitch has been grown on site, from seed. The only thing added after this is the synthetic fibre.
