New Everton Stadium

I know this goes without saying for 99.9% of the forum, but for anyone tuning in late and getting mixed messages in this thread...

And literally today:

That's all well and good, but when do they roll out the turf?

Yes....Finally, a cannon. Every time there is a sub due to poor performance, the player is loaded into the cannon and shot into the Mersey . Has anyone checked if Dyche can fit in it?

Will there be a bloke in a corricle picking the balls out of the mersey on match days

Seems to look better at night with the lilac or is white lights under the barrel of I'm honest
I like the lights, and unlike others I like the way it just lights up the bottom instead of the whole barrel.

However, I do think I’d prefer warm white lights to the blue/purple that is currently being used. To me would look more classy and blend in more with the surroundings and skyline. Just my two pence worth.

Laing o,rourke top brass will all be panicking now the closer it gets to putting the white lines round the pitch, someone could be in for a bit of a boll-cking.
There have been a lot of folks on here saying that the pitch won`t fit, but what if it went the other way, they find out that they have so much room for the pitch that they could have added 10 more rows around the perimeter, taking the capacity beyond 62k, and still got the pitch in easily

Thats the dream.

How do you think there are so many camera angles and positions covered by sky etc?

Do you think they tell people people in the stands to bunch up a bit and leave a space for the cameraman?

There are loads of cameras at stadiums these days for broadcasting, covering loads of angles. Some are at ground level at the side of the pitch, but many are up in the stands. I’m not saying all these platforms will be permanent, and there will logically be some placed on barriers between upper and lower stands, but I’d say there will be some seats lost (maybe not hundreds as I said earlier) but perhaps more in the dozens.
I'm sure sky have lots of technology to give us a great viewing experience from many angles. But I can assure you it's not going to involve those temprary stands in those pictures. These stands have involved removing many seats and would block many people's views.
