yep, I look at that too and think it needs a roofI love the stadium. My only gripe that annoys me on every drone vide is that bloody media centre.
It needs a roof if some sort to tidy it up, even if ity just a lattice roof.
This sort of thing. Still open, but tidies it up.

Ped Ped Ped...you think he'd know better.
It's Ped, a boiled kettle knows better
Can't remember. Went there a few times in the 80's and 90's.Didn't they also have a moat between the pitch and stands at one point?
I did take a screenshot a while back that I don't think I ever got around to posting and it was basically why there was gaps in that area equivalent to one seat on each row:

It was doing my OCD in but it makes sense now. There are holes each side and in the middle to plug in the supports of the temporary platform. They pull out the pairs of seats and bam in it drops.

Great spot that mate. I think now they'll be camera platforms able to be put in for gigs and events.
I read recently that they are looking to expand the ground and doing that Barcelona way would seem the way to go.I'm surprised that Arsenal haven't done that yet with the Emirates Stadium, the gap between the first row and the seats and the touchline is huge. Even accounting for the 5m gap rule between seats and touchline they have plenty of excess space. View attachment 280779
