I'm in the Top Balc, steepest stand in the ground, and nobody stands. Hopefully it's the same in all the stands in the new place.

I've been going to Goodison since the 1960's and I won't feel a tinge of regret leaving the place. I have experienced some great highs but many more lows at the Grand Old Lady. The changes over the years have not improved her in my eyes, and she is definitely showing her age.
It will still be a challenge to get to the new place, but I am looking forward to the experience. The latest videos of the interior at BMD look amazing, a truly modern stadium designed with the fans comfort in mind (apart from the steep stands which will surely finish me off).

Don’t think that’s the case at all mate. Views at the back of the LG are poor but the majority is fine.
Will be disappointed if I don’t manage to get a ST in the lower South as I much prefer standing as I imagine more than 5000 others do.

Ok, I’m going to ask what is possibly a totally stupid question, that’s bugged me for ages. The stand overlooking the river, below the glazed section, is it open to the elements ?
Just came back from Kayseri in Turkey, watching Wales, super stadium, amazing atmosphere. Yeah Wool, whatever. Their stand was open behind our end and was covered in guano, dead pigeons and nesting starlings.

Well my question is, will there be a Home end ?. I watch other matches at other new grounds, ther does not appear to be one, think Spurs,Sunderland, WHU, Man City.

South Stand. Single Tier home end. Check out the YT video they posted today. Worth a watch to get a feel for each stand. Will be nice when they get proper names.
