New Everton Stadium

And i'm still saying that there aren't any obstructed views to seats in that area...we'll see who's right imminently I suspect. My opinion was based on decades of industry experience, backed up by the club and the design team both stating that there aren't any obstructed views.

Do you have posession of the construction drawings? No, you don't. You're looking at PLANNING DRAWINGS. There have been plenty of changes to the seating arrangements since planning. It proves nothing. Do you not understand how a design process works?

It's quite conceivable that something has changed between planning and construction which meant these apparent 'missing seats' had an obstructed view. Changes could then have been made to rectify it. Does that mean someone has made a mistake or it's a bad design....no it doesn't.

The brackets are still there, they have had a hand rail fixed to them to close the gap. No seats WERE EVER installed. Why is not introducing a seat that may have had a restricted view some sort of admission of guilt? 🙄

Personal attack? Grow Up.
Give up to save your sanity.
This stadium will always be flawed to some because it’s not a redeveloped Goodison.
FWIW, I’m inclined to agree, everyone with a professional involvement says there’s no obstructed views, if they’re telling porkies we’ll know soon enough.
If they’re not, by then there will be some other minor ‘issue’ to cling onto to why this stadium was a bad idea / design / fiscal exercise etc etc.

As someone from the Upper Bullens i always thought the pricing structure at Goodison was chaos. The best seats (imo)at Goodison apart from the directors box is the middle of the Upper Bullens, however you paid more in the Park End. This was clearly going to stop at BMD when a grown up got to look at it afresh. I know the Park End is "new" but still
The middle of the bullens is better than the directors box I'd say. The club missed a trick not having hospitality seating in there which could've been accessed from a walkway from the park end perhaps.

I've put him on ignore. Sick of his negativity and criticism.

No problem with anyone expressing an opinion but he's always suggesting that things are wrong or done badly and he knows best. It's narcisim.

I refuse to believe that something as basic as seat sightlines hasn't been considered. It's a ridiculous notion.

If for example, there are restricted views in those seats in the away end then i can almost guarantee there was a decision behind that. They haven't been thrown in and not checked for visibility. None of us are involved in that design process so we don't have the right to criticse anything without knowing the full picture.

ye like now is PE and number

what i mean is if you can walk all the way around inside

why not enter in any except
for disabled?
Because the entrances don’t allow to go to other floors. Yes you can walk around but only on the same level. For example let’s say turnstile 1 is for North Stand Upper, that entrance will have escalators, stairs or lifts to the upper floor as soon as you enter via your turnstile. Once you’re upstairs you can walk around that level. If I’m on South lower using turnstile 10, I can’t get in via your turnstile as there is no way for me to get to south lower. I think.

Also, everyone would be trying to get in via the east stand at 2:55 after sitting in the pub too long. Doing it this way will ease queues and demand in certain areas by forcing people to use other entrances.
