Jacko, did you catch that National Geographic documentary last night on the Bernabeu redevelopment? Amazing.

I just wonder if the club have been filming all our stadium construction from mine sweeping and in-filling of the docks to the completed stadium?

No doubt the club haven't even bothered.

I haven't no, but I did have a bit of involvement in the facade design. I still have the models on my machine somewhere I think.

It's really quite the engineering feat. I'll probably watch it at some point, I love all that.

TBF, it is only 10 months to the opening game of next season. How are they going to be ready in time?

That's true....BUT handover has been expected this month and I think most people would have thought drainage would have been completed before now. IMO there's definitely an issue there they were not expecting at this stage.
Not a massive drama but is it something that could delay the handover if not an August kick off.
I can't imagine the workers fitting the refreshments area below would be expecting water to be gushing down the stairs to their work.

The surprise/shock is probably just relative to the fact pretty much everything has gone like clockwork on this build, apart from the terrible loss of Michael Jones, God rest his soul.

Only a little bit. I was helping some colleagues who were doing the acoustic design of the building, and the facade is a massive part of that, so I just helped them with the digital stuff and the 3d models

It’s getting washed away mate.

We we worried at the start of the building that it could be flooded by rising sea levels, didn`t think we`d be flooded by someone forgetting to make the roof water tight.

Just been down to take a look at the stadium and it isn't there anymore. All the LoR staff said it was floating down the Mersey and heading towards Ireland at 7:05am.

Oh well, back to Goodison and sort out it's safety certificate once and for all.

To increase non match day revenue its doubling up as the Isle of Man Ferry.

I had two last night, one at 4 am and another at 5.30am, Its just cos I like having my prostate examined, look no hands!
