The location isn't fantastic, it's nowhere near the city centre and travel is going to be ridiculous. Kings dock would've been 100 times better.

Since when have the Dock walls been hated in Liverpool? News to me, built by French prisoners from the Napoleonic War they should not be knocked down to suit a football club.

Is it true they were built by French prisoners of war? I've heard it said but never known if it is true or an urban myth.

No, the Napoleonic Wars were long over when the dock road walls were built.

I heard the other day that it's ten miles from BMD entrance to Liverpool One! Total disgrace and not well thought out at all.

Disgusting mate. They should have considered a floating stadium that we could just leave on the Mersey and get 50k scousers to just push it over to the wools instead of them coming through the tunnels every week.

Can't remember if that design was on here or kipper but it was an opportunity lost IMO

Depends what way you go, if you turn left and go via Crosby you can make it way over 10.
