Did it last year. Some lass called Jazz was leading the way with a voluble, friendly chap who regaled us all with the long list of Everton firsts. A great experience.

I didn't get wet at all....... but to be honest there shouldn't be thousands still getting wet in a modern stadium.... the roof should've been extended far further.

I agree completely. A few of us have been saying the same since the designs were released.

Big oversight IMO. Hopefully they can extend the Perspex glass section forward without any major integral change to the roof structure.

I generally like the design and the location is fantastic, the pillars external of the South stand I’m not particularly keen on…they have a bit of a league one look to them

It's true though.

The stadium is striking and it's in a world class location. We have seen the club pull that off and all credit to them.

But the thing isn't perfect and anyone who brings up a concern about design, access / egress, technical issues are treated like a red headed step child.

It's infantile.

That's a legitimate shout. People have the right to express that.

Last week. Walking or taking a bus/that there isn’t a Shinkansen straight to the stadium is all on Dan Meis.
This week. The roof and it’s definitely not fit for purpose and we should have definitely gone for a retractable roof and we’re all going to drown.

As the stadium has grown, it definitely has ‘Bundesliga’ vibes which I think is a good thing.

For me something like the Allianz Arena is more impressive than the Spurs stadium despite both being multi purpose and the Allianz being more of a bowl.

I also think we can still have the opportunity to make the ground more unique with the branding, ite a big opportunity to do something which sets the ground apart from any other in the league.

Again to go back to Bundesliga comparison, what really sets there stadiums apart is the branding inside. It’s something they do better than we do over here.

I hope we see some unique branding in the stands. I really liked the seat branding in the people’s project designs. And without going too cliche with the blue, I’d rather see what we can do with the concrete inside with the blue finishing than leaving it plain.
