New Everton Stadium

How many tracks does Sandhills have. In Melbourne, which TBH manages a number of large events at the same time. Part of the way the do this especially around Melbourne cup and music festivals is to run special trains between the main station and the local station, I think they’d run 3 at a time and they just go back and forth, before the event and after, it works well
It's two. But I think the viaduct is wide enough for three platforms along there. There's space on the left as you head north for most of it

Had a gander over the Transport docs following the discussion in here.

I read them as soon as they came out. I look forward to hearing in the New Year about something with more specifics about Soccerbuses from more locations than currently and how the frequency and length of trains might be improved.

Please look at these pictures View attachment 288072View attachment 288073and what looks like wet patches both on the lower tier and upper tier terracing, bottom tier looks like first 20 rows are soaked and upper sections in certain areas are also wet. Directors area and corporate sections look wet, does anyone think there could be leaks in the roof?

Pictures cannot tell a full story, it could have also been raining with a swirling gale for 3 days before that photo was taken, when you are in your seat for just an hour and a half you don't get that accumulation that makes it appear as it does there.

They could have also been jet washing at the time alongside the rain, hence the patches in the upper tiers.

Anyone who has sat in the first few rows of any outdoor stadium know if it's raining you are likely to get a bit wet, thus you dress accordingly.

Where will the soccer busses come from? The same place they do now.

You do know anfield has a bigger capacity and further away from the train stations?

Is your life really that miserable you can't apply any serious critical thinking so you just think everything is doom and gloom?
Well seeing as our capacity is going up by 13,000 and it is in a location which is poorly served by regular bus routes, we need to make changes. I'd have one route from James St for people getting off there, for starters. I'd also have a bus from the Rotunda down to the stadium along Boundary St, as there are 3 major roads with bus routes in and out of the city. Other locations will be considered, I hope.

As I understand it, getting to and from Anfield is carnage (good). I'd like something better for Evertonians. Why wouldn't anyone?

I'm sure if it becomes a major problem during actual games Everton will do something about it. Let's not forget fans voted for this fantastic location and fantastic it is, but where it is we will always be more open to the elements.

Wonder how people got to a new Goodison before all these new fangled gadgets like cars and buses and scoooters?

Reckon the lads used to send each other proposed bus schedules and the like by telegram?
More likely be pigeons with little notes tied to their little legs.

Speaking of which, it seems a massive missed opportunity that we didn't install escalators instead of steps on the terraces. Why should we fans have to put in the effort to walk up them? With the transportation issues and the feeling your under a cold shower all the time, I think this could really put people off going the game.

3 days walking to get there and then ye get pissed wet through before you've even reached your seat, which is another day's walk away.

Booooooooooooo
Koff Everton

I'd link to think there is a lift for people to that level. Specifically for those who are disabled. Anybody know for sure? Thanks.
