I think you mean "bobbing".The place would be rocking.
Any land purchase from Peel would be subject to receiving planning permission. You can be sure if the council knock out stadium plans back, we wouldn't be buying the site, so it will depend how long the planning process is.None of this will have any effect whatsoever on Evertons position with Peel and the purchase of land. This would be agreed well, well before any change happens politically in Liverpool.

If it's anything like the transfer process...........
Change of tide direction brought it back...Didn't we cover floating stadiums 400 pages ago???
Staying at The Titanic this weekend (as are Spurs) so had a good nosey around the area. I walked down from Bramley Moore to Princess dock. My ideal spot is where the old Drive in cinema is, but let's be honest....any spot in the strip would be amazing.
The area North of Princess is incredibly tatty right now but a multi-million pound project would soon attract new business into the area.
Oh, 35 min to walk from the bottom Liverpool 1 to Bramley Moore.
Wonder how long by tram or.......... monorail?
Any public transport would be great. Didn't see a single bus running along that docks road walking both directions yesterday.
Somebody mentioned earlier a deal could be struck with Mersey Transport for shuttle buses, maybe free for ST holders from town. Just use the ST card to access the bus.
As an out of towner for almost 20 years I'm not sure how the land lies, but that would be ideal. Not beyond ridiculous to expect a new Merseyrail station in all honesty.

Is the line above or below ground? Below ground, you can forget it. Above ground, well I saw how long it took them to build the station at Wavertree first hand, and that's just a basic open-air station. You'd expect something bigger would be required for a stadium station.Doubt it would be to much of an issue. Get a station near Stanley docks.
