Yeah it's a terrific stadium, waterfront location too .........As far as the outside goes, I would love to see something like the Estadio San Mamés.

A brick or stone exterior is a must for me. Imagine how it would compliment the three graces.+1. The brick exterior is a no no for me.
Could you imagine seeing something like that lit up in Royal Blue on the Mersey.Yeah it's a terrific stadium, waterfront location too .........

Perhaps I'm not well travelled enough mate, but hand on heart, I have never seen a multi storey car park that looks even remotely like that. That looks like a multi storey car park![]()
NSNO is our motto, so I'm expecting more than that.Perhaps I'm not well travelled enough mate, but hand on heart, I have never seen a multi storey car park that looks even remotely like that.
That does look impressive no doubt. But somehow a 'brick effect' stadia like Lucas oil, would look just as striking in my view, especially you factor in the historical aspect of the docklands area of Liverpool. As far as the outside goes, I would love to see something like the Estadio San Mamés.

Just thinking, does brick not hold in sound better to improve atmosphere? That does look impressive no doubt. But somehow a 'brick effect' stadia like Lucas oil, would look just as striking in my view, especially you factor in the historical aspect of the docklands area of Liverpool.
Found these imagines of a proposed look of how Chelsea's battersea stadium would look like before it fell through. Replace the chimneys with towers to reflect our badge and heritage and I think it would look great.

Hmmm, I'm not convinced myself. But it's different strokes for different folks. That does look impressive no doubt. But somehow a 'brick effect' stadia like Lucas oil, would look just as striking in my view, especially you factor in the historical aspect of the docklands area of Liverpool.
