New Everton Stadium

That does look impressive no doubt. But somehow a 'brick effect' stadia like Lucas oil, would look just as striking in my view, especially you factor in the historical aspect of the docklands area of Liverpool.
Found these imagines of a proposed look of how Chelsea's battersea stadium would look like before it fell through. Replace the chimneys with towers to reflect our badge and heritage and I think it would look great.

My main concern over the red brick idea is that if the Liverpool waters scheme takes off we could see a lot of very modern buildings and sky scrapers pop in that area, if we go with red brick we run the risk of blending in with the old warehouses whilst the main focus of attention will be on all the shiny new buildings Peel have planned for the area.
