Sorry mate but Lucas oil stadium would look horrid on the waterfront, state of the art buildings around it and slap in the middle a mix between a rail station and a huge warehouse, yeah embrace the past but not by doing a stadium that looks luke a 18-19th century building.

Trust me your judging that on novelty value, that'd wear off fast then your left playing in a novelty stadium design for 50 years, which as the city becomes newer will look more out of place with each passing year.

Just throw cladding over the brickwork when the novelty wears off

This really, I don't necessarily dislike the building as such, but as a stadium it just doesn't do it for me.

I want us to get a funny sponsor like Colorado's "Dick's Sporting Goods Stadium".

The "Viagra Velodrome" or the "Snickers Soccer Stadium" would be kewl.

I'm sure the best stadium architects money can buy will be able to create a design that is both modern but also with a nod towards the existing waterfront architecture without making it look like a 19th century hospital building. Let's not fume about something that hasn't even happened yet.

This really, I don't necessarily dislike the building as such, but as a stadium it just doesn't do it for me.

The interior is outstanding, really smart. I'm not sure about the outside though. Looks like something from the industrial revolution circa 1868.

I'd prefer something a bit more flashy and futuristic.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

We won't fill a 70k stadium when tickets are £40. Pricing is the problem.

You are right in the current situation but we have to allow for possible expansion in the case of success. If we can do a Chelsea or Man City and start having success then its inevitable we will have more supporters. I think if its a 55k or like stadium then we could have a big regret. If sustained success does come to Everton then we will need to be able to expand. Saying that I am sure that is a norm with most of todays stadiums anyway.

Would probably fit better with the heritage of the docks around there. Titanic hotel etc.
