New Everton Stadium

The interior is outstanding, really smart. I'm not sure about the outside though. Looks like something from the industrial revolution circa 1868.

I'd prefer something a bit more flashy and futuristic.
Sums it up, looks a bit meh on the outside but the inside is gorgeous

Can't let myself get to excited till I see this!!

See your point but it is obviously full for the big games and also away support allowance can be bigger. I know its all ifs and buts depending on success but would rather have a minimum of 60k with future expansion if necessary.

I think a little perspective is required here. The Liverpool Waters scheme is not going to be some kind of RIBA inspired, art-house, design central location that some are talking about. It's just a collection of rather bland, uninspiring mixed-use developments. In fact looking at the images below there is nothing futuristic about the proposals, you could even say that they already look dated, they are certainly uninteresting.

If anything a stadium that complements Stanley/Albert dock warehouses is going to add character to the overall scheme. I think some would just prefer a blue glass fronted, futuristically styled stadium hence the debate. I don't think however that a Lucas Oil style stadium should be dismissed as not being futuristic enough for LW.

I always liked the AT & T Stadium in Texas - Awesome structure that. Really dramatic and imposing design. Also the Veltins Arena in Germany. Cool Stadium that. Or how about BC Place Stadium, Vancouver.....Check out the retractable roof....waterside location and all...
