Yeah right over the road from the Costco. Seems a little cramped right there with the above ground rail, main road and the vent shaft but if they can build what they need and get people to a foot bridge and aim to the run down stuff and just compulsory purchase it to become a walkway.

Im sure there was an earlier itinerary of that stadium summit on this website a few weeks ago showing us as attending but only for modernising Goodison. This has obviously been updated with our new plans....im certain ive seen the earlier version somewhere on here. If someone could find it, it would prove our plans have moved on somewhat...

Probably one of two mate, planning is always a potential problem, although in this case it's difficult to see many objections.

The only potential problem I can think of is capacity issues given the lack of transport infrastructure but I assume that will be covered in the development plans. Regardless, a 55/60k stadium should not present a problem in that respect.

Presumably purchase of the land is subject to planning permission being granted?
