New Everton Stadium

Laughing at you lot thinking this will happen after whats happened over the last couple of months

I've heard Moshiri is a family man and doesn't want to turn his back on Goodison

Who told you that, Jim White in a text?

Anyone who believes that a reclusive non-limelight seeking billionaire who doesn't do interviews is texting some no-mark Scottish tv presenter who he's probably not even met is out of their minds.

Oh there is. Was down there today (on regent road) and it was pretty strong, it was rather vile in all honesty

I linked a story in this thread about how much was spent by another utility company to stop this from happening around around the Twickenham rugby stadium.....it cost near to 150m for covers and tanks...tec.

I know this will sound negative but as soon as this rumour of the BM dock surfaced it sounded like Peel reluctantly sold us the last the plot on the front next to the turd factory.

I'm not sure anyone would protest about safe standing areas. The issue with the old terraces was thousands of people crammed into large pens that could get out of control. Safe standing areas are nothing like that and are as controlled as seating
Exactly. I'm not entirely sure what's stopping them introducing it now.

Fairly sure I read somewhere that nearly every football stadium is orientated north to south. This is to keep the sun out of the goalkeeper's eyes. if this is true, expect the stadium to be parallel with the river, not at right angles.

In an ideal world you build your Main Stand to the west so that come 3PM on a Sat most people are not blinded by the sun. With the plethora of KO times now it's not as important. It's why early KO at Goodison are poor for sunlight being in the fans eyes as it was never designed for them.
