This has already been explained umpteen times in multiple different posts.

Esk believes the club has a deal agreed in principle, not yet signed so not yet on land registries, but dependent on getting all the associated enabling and regeneration projects. You can look at it in different ways - it's not on land registries so technically they haven't 'secured' it, but at the same time, they are believed to have an agreement in place dependent on other stuff, which is half the battle getting a tentative agreement with Peel.

I said nothing about 'in principle' I said the information I received was that we completed on or around 18th August.

Land Registry registrations can take several months to appear particularly if there's a redrawing of title boundaries which occurs when someone acquires part of an existing piece of land or property.

I'm an Evertonian that so happens to use this forum. My mate is a property developer. We had a pint like we regularly do. He got to telling me about the luxury apartment complex he bought land for and is planning G to build and sell and mentioned Everton had also bought 30 million worth of land. It's not a big conspiracy mate, just fellow blues passing on information. If its wrong then my mates a liar, which I doubt very much but sure we'll all soon see, in the mean time keep the tin foil hat on sure. If it turns out to be in Stone bridge or somewhere else then you can start a witch hunt on me and I'll laugh at you, lots.

That's assuming I even believe your mate exists which again I have no way of verifying. Call me a skeptic but I would prefer to wait for an official announcement.

Haha ok mate... My imaginary friend then... The papers where reporting something along the lines of "Everton would have to pay 20 million to secure dockland site." My mate said "Everton have bought site for around 30 million." Now some papers are reporting 30 million.

The only thing I'll say is that he is a red and could be on the wind up, but to me it was just general convo and he's kept a pretty straight face if that's the case. We'll see soon enough, officially. Also it's not just me saying it on here either.

I have no way to verify any of that. I'm not saying I think you are lying. I'm just saying I remain to be convinced and only an official announcement would convince me.

The last 6 months have shown, nobody has a clue about Everton anymore, not a single ITK on any forum or on Twitter called a single thing.

People need to wake up and smell the coffee, Everton is now a closed shop.
