New Everton Stadium

They sponsor the Carolina Panthers stadium which was $140m over 20 years in 2004 and have just been extended the deal with no details of the new one given.

That may be a correct amount and quite disappointing. Spurs have had issues getting a decent amount for theirs, so maybe we have also struggled but can't afford not to take the best offer we're given.
Just an example but Bayern Munich get €130m (£108) over 10 years for their stadium. So £10m p/a would be the going rate for a top CL club. I think its likely that BMD gets somewhere between £5-10m given the size of the PL.

BMD has already brought in more with Castore especially paying large amounts for the kit and plenty of advertising in the new stadium. So although that may seem low initially, I guess you have to look at all the new sponsorships collectively to see the benefits.

And apparently someone has put in the forum on VFTB it’s 6mil a year 😂😂 imaging if we agreed to that deal, it should be a minimum 20mil a year
If it is Bank of America Merrill Lynch (to use the full name and its ‘BAML’), it is possible the Friedkins are using BAML to restructure remaining debt on a longer term more secure basis. And the naming rights are part of the negotiations. Just a theory.

I think if the offers were around the 6m mark it might be better to to just name it ourselves and at least establish that as a brand a bit like Spurs have done, rather than have it be called ‘The Bank Of America’ from day one and forever more.

Yeah we could use the money but stadium naming / branding is an important commodity and 6m / year feels cheap in 2024, and certainly would be 10 years down the line.

But the premier league is a different animal it’s the most watched league in tbe world, I think Barca only get 20 a year.
The bobble said spurs wanted 500mil down payment and 50mil a year for 10yrs.
I can’t get my head around that we get 20 of castore and 18 of stake( rumoured figures) they could be wrong,
But 5/10 would be fine for the stadium, what are Christian ward paying us as sleeve sponsor??

Wonder what this area is going to be used for? They're erecting a security fence along there which is much more robust to the one seperating the UU site.

Makes me think it's some sort of secure storage or VIP parking area? I'm pretty sure that section falls within the clubs ownership/ lease but don't recall ever seeing anything on the proposed layouts.

Its on the other side of the boundary fence so it belongs to the water works.

We would need to be pushing £8- 10m/year.

Maybe over a 10 year contract there are increments based on results and placings.

'The Bank of America' is a bit long on the tongue but in the wider context I'd rather get a established and credible brand like that, rather than a more lucrative deal from some poundshop business.

We need to do the same with shirt sponsorship and get these horrendous pop-up gambling companies off the kit.

Attracting a more blue-chip stadium naming partner should help in that regard.

Don't really get why they would want to sponsor a UK team? Do they provide services in this country?!
Picked up a bird in Ibiza way, way back in the day. She worked for the Bank of America and provided some excellent services...none of which were financial, by the way.

Thinks - This will probably get me into further trouble with the GOT Moderators
