New Everton Stadium

Iā€™ve read that itā€™s going to be Ā£8 a pint and basically about Ā£10 for a small portion of any food that isnā€™t a pie.

I get that they are trying to make money but given they have been spinning the peopleā€™s club line with Moyes coming back, they need to practice that same ethos in the new ground. I donā€™t think any of us would be annoyed at spending a bit more than a pint would cost in town but letā€™s not get silly with it
I think the pies were 6.25p, I dont buy them in Goodison and I certainly wont buy them there.

Its up to others how they spend their money.

I did try and buy the Grandson a massively overpriced doughnut, but they had ran out.

Well they couldnā€™t have been that good as the stewards didnā€™t know either. Was trying to find my ST seat and figure out how to get round to it from where I was.

But you are right, even though itā€™s my first time there I should know where to go even though the people who actually work there couldnā€™t be expected to know such things.

Its not that hard to find your seat, surely. I mean, the block numbers are absolutely massive at every vomitory. You cant even go in at the wrong gate cause the ticket only works at the specified one.

The Corona bottles where Ā£4.50, so I reckon a pints going to be Ā£6.50-Ā£7.

Hopefully do reduced prices before/after the game similar to Spurs

I bought a steak pie and it was lovely. Tasty pastry, packed with big chunks of steak and no grizzle. I'm on Mounjaro so the fact that I ate all of it says it all šŸ˜‹

I didnā€™t buy any food or drink because we were off somewhere after the match, is there any photos of the screens in the ground to see what they were offering and charging for it?

I didnā€™t stop to look long enough to let it sink in how much a few pints might cost or a meal during a weeknight game when coming straight from work.

I did read somewhere that they wonā€™t let you in the ground with food from outside but surely thatā€™s not right.

ā€¦.daughter was looking for something for her 3yo but it was a struggle because there wasnā€™t much available. She reckoned what was there was decent, ā€˜home madeā€™ pies etc, seems like itā€™ll ultimately be a step up in quality on Goodison cuisine but more expensive.

She was after a ā€˜hot chocolateā€™ drink for the little fella but it wasnā€™t on at this point. She was offered Bovril.

I suspect itā€™ll be decent.
