New Everton Stadium

Womens bags are almost always checked entering large events these days, yet blokes seem to be able to wander straight in! In future stick the peanuts and butties in your pockets, job done šŸ‘!
Can people seriously not go without their peanuts for just a couple of hours ffs? If they canā€™t then they have some sort of peanut addiction and should seek help for it. If the rules are clear, donā€™t take food or drink in to the stadium, then donā€™t take them in!

Got no idea how you can be so sure Andy, it will be marginal. It might be fine, it might be fine some of the time, it might be blocked all the time. The only way to find out is to sit there and see with your own eyes.

Of course if that bloke standing there is 6'7" then that changes it a bit as that line would start lower down, but that's why I'm NOT saying it will definitely be blocked. We wait to see.

I've also maintained all long I don't see this as a restricted view even if the corner flag is not seen. It's a miniscule part of the pitch.

They removed the end seats that were in their submitted original seat plan, as clearly they would've been marginally obstructed view. You can also see why the original Meis layout was different, with the end stand lower tier fully turning the corner and no angled end wall cutting across the normal field of vision of those in the adjacent side stand lower tier.

That's like suggesting when someone tall sits infront of you, or elsewhere within your view, it's restricted. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

That lad in the picture is leaning against the wall, so anyone stood there normally watching the game wouldn't be doing that.

Ultimately, the entire original discussion was around potential sight line issues brought about by perceived 'poor' or 'not considered' design.

The wall 100% doesn't block the view. It's a bit of a stretch to suggest that fans stood on the south stand will block anyone's view also. For a view of the corner flag to be blocked, it would take a particularly tall person, stood in a specific spot, leaning against the handrail and the person in one of those end seats to be still sat down and/or particularly short šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

I'm going to take this one as a first victory in my quest to become the new GOT Resident Stadium Sightline Expert :lol::lol::lol:

I had mine in my hood, the fools. Will look daft if it rains but so far so good šŸ‘ šŸ„œšŸ˜‰

@Tom Hughes

Maybe you could get your Mrs one of these for the next test event.
They'll suspect nothing.
