Think the system is a bit harsh on everyone really, except Everton.

So basically, fans have to buy Obstructed View seats, until we sell out, before your ticket can be sold? So we end up with loads of fans in obstructed view seats, whilst ST holders seats won't get sold

Have they actually said it's only for sold out games? That cant be right, if a ST holder is getting a refund surly that seat will go on offer right away?

But you can use that money off next seasons ticket? So there is no real issue. Financially you are not losing.
I know, I know. I would just like the money to hit my pocket first that's all.

Also concerned about the tickets not selling unless the club had sol out their tickets first....we'll see I guess.

FAQs

· Will my seat appear on the online resale platform as soon as I’ve listed it?
No, the tickets listed by supporters will only appear on the resale platform once general admission tickets are sold out or have limited availability.

I fully expect every game will sell out next season with ease, not just because the football will be better but the clock is ticking on Goodison, people will want to see it before its gone

I don't think you're understanding what I mean....

I don't expect/want to make a profit, my gripe with it, is that I was paid cash money back into my bank account once the tickets had sold on StubHub.

This way I will now receive back what I paid, but in the form of a credit to use at the end of the season (and no guarantee/control over it selling in the first place)

Ah OK, sorry I misunderstood.

To be fair to the club though, how many businesses offer refunds if you don use something?

Let’s say Tesco sell bags of crisps for 50p.
And sell family packs of 10 for £3.50.
Try going back for a partial refund because you don’t fancy the Cheese & Onion…

Season Tickets are substantially discounted in reward for a bulk sale.
If you don’t think you can make all the games, nobody’s being force to buy a ST.
Maybe best to pay as you go?

I personally think this system is more than fair.

I'm glad the club have finally binned StubHub because the service was being abused.

The seat next to me in GT4 has been owned by someone selling the seat on there game in game out for about the last 6 seasons now and I've heard this kind of thing was rife. It was a joke really when we have a waiting list for season tickets.

The club must have known who was doing this yet did absolutely nothing to stop it.

If a game doesn’t sell out, 2 fans miss out - 1 on the sale and 1 on a cheap ticket. The club gains nothing

^^^^^This.

And these are the type that were selling their Wembley tickets for extortionate prices too.

I've sold mine or give it to mates or charity most weeks for the last four seasons (apart from covid obviously) as I work and live overseas. I'd fly home for certain matches, but that's been made more difficult (even without covid) at my present location. I don't want to give it up as when I return it's very unlikely that I'll get another for a long time. I do feel slightly guilty about having a ticket that someone else could own, but I try to be responsible with it.
When I used StubHub I normally charged about £25.

The same applies to a lot of away credit holders.

I know people with 15—20 credits who haven't been to more than 2 aways a season for years.
Anyone know how the aways will work in future?I "fell off" the away credits ladder from personal circumstances a few years back and have never been able to get a proper foothold since!!Have always managed to purloin away tickets from trusted sources usually off here ever since but I think the club are clamping down on these goings on from this season!!

I think that's fair enough mate.

By contrast though, the person who has the seat next to me never shows up I as get a different person there every game and the seat was always listed on StubHub at way over the odds prices.
