so the alternative is to pay well over the odds in wages to bring in a player who is only coming here for the money?

We need a manager that players want to come to Everton to play for. Modern players don’t care about our history. We need a reason for them to want to play for Everton

Hi

Dyche is 1.57 on BF to be next to go from a massive 12 this morning and a general 5.00 week in week out. Southgate being mentioned is just a no no, Moyes et al are not the type of manager I would like to see at Everton. Any of the below or any similar to them is where the club should be looking when Dyche has gone.

Roger Schmidt, Abel Ferreira, Marco Rose, Sebastian Hoeneß, Adi Hütter.

Thomas Frank would be my choice, based on PL experience and getting the absolute maximum out of a pretty average squad.

But he wouldn't come here and definitely not mid season.

Terzic would be next best, very good record. Just don't see him taking over in the state we're in. Maybe money talks.
