Stake.com? Rumour on twitter...
Very poor if true, back to a betting company and not allowed on kids kits
This rumour has been knocking around for a few weeks now, I would be amazed if there's any truth to considering DBB's comments at the AGM a couple of years ago regarding betting firms as our shirt sponsors. But, this is Everton mind, so who knows!

Considering the rumours that betting firms are going to be banned from sponsoring footy shirts a move to a betting firm for our shirt sponsor would be Everton in a nutshell. Plus i thought we had purposely left sportspesa because of the betting angle so will be amazed if its a betting company.

On their web site it shows them on the Watford shirts cant see it being a Mega deal unless they have binned Watford off
There'll be a relegation clause that means they'll be paying less, or maybe even allows them to break the agreement.

So they'll have money to spend elsewhere.

I really hope it's not them, particularly after we made such a fuss of moving away from SportPesa.

It's not even so much that they are a gambling firm - though I do detest their infestation of the game. It's far worse to have moralised about consciously moving away from a betting firm, only to go back to another one, than it is to have said and done nothing about it in the first place.

Doesnt really bother me as i dont really notice the shirt sponsors after a while, we need the board to pull something out of the bag money wise to try and get on top of the finances so we can try and start to spend money hopefully wisely this time , our deals put us it seems at the bottom end of the revenue intake this really needs addressing especially if the new stadium can lift the profile again

Heard it's doing to be Unilever. Which is good for us Blues as they've agreed to a discount for all Evertonians of 50% off of all Domestos products.

if it's Stake.Com it would have to be a seriously improved deal - which is what they said they had lined up when they announced the deal with Cazoo would come to an end. It would also have to be a very short term deal because Betting Companies won't be allowed in a few seasons.
I totally understand, given our financial situation and the desperate need for better commercial deals, especially after losing the USM, Megafone deals why we would maybe return to betting company but no one will or should be happy about it. I just hope, if it happens the club don't pat themselves on the back like they're the best thing since sliced bread.
