They do have massive profits, so its not beyond the realms of possibility. They did sponsor Oldham, QPR, Western Sydney Wanders and St Mirren in the past, as well as doing sleeve sponsors for Bournemouth and even making the kit for Bournemouth. It would be better for the kids kits if we had a sponsor they could have.

It’d also mean the dismantling of our contract with Fanatics. If that’s not up (and I have no idea if it is or not), I imagine there’s nothing in any JD rumour.

Why would it? JD would not be advertising on our shirts because they want people to buy everton shirts from them, they would be doing it so that people go to their website and shops to buy all kinds of sports wear. The fanatics deal is specific to distribution, its not a sponsorship contract.

Fanatics are our official retail partner. They wouldn’t be happy with it.

It would be a bit mad though to have their name plastered all over a shirt that they’re not allowed to sell.

I live in the North West, and JD have sold Everton shirts during the fanatics / kitbag deal. I don’t know if that’s a local thing? I can see on their website they only sell the retro Everton shirts
 
Wish we could afford to just do a charity sponser but that not happening. Another betting sponsor would be poor
 
Unfortunately money has ruined the game. I think every fan would love for sponsors to be removed but fans & players are walking billboards.

We've already added sleeve sponsors, soon there'll be back sponsors and eventually shirts will end up looking like Ling's Cars!

To remain competitive clubs (especially with terrible financial positions) end up having to accept the highest deals they can get which typically is seedy brands with football fan target demographics...

If it's Stake (which most feel it is) we just need to take the money and get on with it because we need it! Shame really.
