New Shirt Sponsor

Unfortunately money has ruined the game. I think every fan would love for sponsors to be removed but fans & players are walking billboards.

We've already added sleeve sponsors, soon there'll be back sponsors and eventually shirts will end up looking like Ling's Cars!

To remain competitive clubs (especially with terrible financial positions) end up having to accept the highest deals they can get which typically is seedy brands with football fan target demographics...

If it's Stake (which most feel it is) we just need to take the money and get on with it because we need it! Shame really.

Works both ways.

I think everyone has warm sentiments over like the likes of Hafnia and NEC.

But some less so, SportPesa, for example.

Personally I think a shirt looks bare without a sponsor nowadays. I don’t mind what you have as long as it doesn’t look horrific, like this Burnley one below.

I mean its not like the club to drag their heels doing anything, signings, sponsors, kit reveals..

They need to get a move on though, realistically end of this month the kits need to be available to buy for the summer for the kids. My little lad loves his for the summer holidays, even more this year for going abroad.

If its stake they need to die on that cross (or staked in the heart get it) and get it out in the public asap.

Everything just feels like amateur hour again really doesn't it.

If it is Stake, as long as the club come out and say, look our finances are a mess we've gone with the highest bidder, I think the fans will understand.

It takes us a week to announce a new signing after virtually every other outlet has confirmed it.

No rush.

Actually, it's another example of our pitiful board just ambling along. DBB said weeks ago the deal was ready to go. I'm guessing it was as 'oven ready' as the Brexit deal tbh. She must get jumpy when the gap between wordy statements gets too long.

Sponsor and kit needs confirming in next few days for kids summer hols etc. (factoring in our usual shambolic shipping of orders.)
Agree with this.

Worst part of having a betting company on the shirt is kids have no sponsor again. Had it for years with Sportpesa and Chang before that. As a dad, it makes the shirt look less authentic and a bit like a training top.

Still want the full amount for them though. £90 last year for the full kit for an 11 year old and kids must make up a decent proportion of the the revenue for kit sales

am not as precious as others about having gambling or alcohol on our tops mate, but I would always pay extra to buy tops without any sponsor regardless who it is.

horses for courses and all that, personal choices - I prefer the kids without, the kids with cazoo was awful, like it was sublimitated printed into the top on some of them, was terrible.
