Has DCL had a training session with Frank yet? Not as far as I know. Can't see him playing if Frank hasn't seen him on the training ground to weigh his fitness and overall form up, especially not to take a place off one of those lads who did so well yesterday.

Geordies now have Burn, Trippier and Targett in a new look back line...

With Howe not being the best defensive coach and this being their first match together i can see our 3 quick attackers turning them over.

Mina should shackle Wood...with their main threat being Maximin...

I think we score 3 against them...

Looking forward this, then again I always look forward to our games. I can see it being a strongly fought fast paced match, so would start with André Gomes, Dele Alli, and Andros Townsend; they can be swapped out for the 2nd half (if and when their energy levels start to drop) for Donny van der Beek, *Dominic Calvert-Lewin/Cenk Tosun, and Anthony Gordon, with Richarlison falling back into Dele Allis' position and *DCL/Tosun taking up the vacant forward spot. But whetever the team, we need to get a result and start putting points back on the board again.

* Not sure if Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be fit play.

This. Especially the second sentence.

I think we stick with the team that started with Mina in for Godfrey.

Cant take out Gordon from your line up after that performance...nor Holgate.

If we make subs then Patterson, Branthwaite, VDB, Townsend, Alli, DCL give us more than enough options from the bench.

Start again with Gordon 1st name on sheet.

Big big game this. I think it'll be the same starting line up but with Mina for Godfrey (hard to change a winning team!!!.) Really looking forward to this now.

Some of our players put a serious shift in yesterday, just a shame hardly any rest before this one. Got a feeling he will use Gordon as 60th minute sub, I’m sure 1 of Alli or VDB will start

Lampard absolutely nailed the substitutions yesterday - as shown by the fourth goal involving Tosun, Iwobi and Townsend.

I know it's a very small sample size of one game we're dealing with, but I found that promising as far as his ability to affect a game in the late stages goes.

I think being able to freshen it up could be key on Tuesday.
