I don't think Frank will change too much so early. He's has to go with the same XI.
Lose this and it's a massive kick in the nuts indeed @YorkieG Feels like a draw to me.

Yeah, score draw seems the likeliest result atm but it's really difficult one to call.

Obviously we've been terrible at points this season, but it's not the norm as such. The issue is that we're ineffective rather then hideously incompetent, plus we've had mentality issues - lots of critical individual errors resulting in wins becoming draws; Brentford, Norwich and Watford all examples of the dimwittery of individuals ruining it for the team. Six points simply thrown away. Even the ManU home game (another draw) could easily have been three points had we not poo'd the bed.

We've basically recruited a new defence - and added more protection in front of it - so hopefully we'll tighten up. But with at least one of Schar and Lascelles starting, Dubravka flapping every other game, and Jonjo Shelvey going nowhere, means we might still chuck one in at some point.

This is such an important game for many reasons. Lampard will have some big decisions to make selection wise on the back of the good Cup performance but with good options now available it will be interesting which way he goes. Stick or twist, I hope he chooses wisely

I wonder will that hinder you short term? Playing with 3 new defenders all at once could potentially leave you vulnerable compared to say a Burnley who have a recognised defence who all know each others game.

I fancy a close 1-2 away win

Saint Maximim for you guys and Richarlison, Gray for us.

Lampard absolutely nailed the substitutions yesterday - as shown by the fourth goal involving Tosun, Iwobi and Townsend.

I know it's a very small sample size of one game we're dealing with, but I found that promising as far as his ability to affect a game in the late stages goes.

I think being able to freshen it up could be key on Tuesday.
The ability of Tosun and Iwobi to effect the game in a positive way was more than promising, it was a miracle!

I would not know which 11 to choose , tough call , those lads from yesterday they deserve the credit on how they adapt and adjust on manager ideas , on the other side we brought two great lads so who ever start I am perfectly fine as finally we have bench strong enough to make a difference

Defence picks itself.
I'd leave Gomes in to start but bring DVB on for him after an hour. Same for Gray and Dele. Also Gordon replaced by Townsend for this one. But Gordon also to come on the second..
Barring any mishaps.

This is the really big one, must get at least a point here. Must say anything less than 3 points will be very disappointing.

Yes fair analysis mate, but I think this will be a hard game for us. We have been poor against the poorer teams this season (no offence) and you're playing better than the points suggest. You've also got some new signings so will be bang up for it.

Tough game for us, and would certainly take a draw.
