Exactly. I am looking forward to the highlights , had to see the fambo for the first time in months.

Me and the old man pacing up and down listening to it on City ... with Sharpy et al.

Him and Snods are the best thing on there.

Funnily enough no mention of the dirty snide rag Nolan, don't think they even showed it. I'm sure Mr Shearer had nothing to do with that, oh no.

And we were second to last, not last! An improvement....

I already explained where he did...FOr THE GOAL. Plus when Nolan was let run past him and Baines had to make a saving tackle and when Jags had the same. Try get hold of the whole match and just watch Rodwell. He jogs around in circles not marking anyone and then lets midfielders run past him. Then when he's back he leaves men furthest forward to close down someone on the edge of the box who just slides it through to the player in a far more dangerous position.

I didn't say he won't amount to much..I do think he will be a good central defender. I just don't see what the point of him playing in Central midfield is. He's got 0 league goals this season and just 1 assist so he's no offensive threat..and defensively he's poor.
He'll probably be better when he only has to see what is in front of him (defenders have the offside rule to help them). Lets remember he was also to blame for the goal in 1st leg vs chelsea and for both goals in the next league game. His poor defensive header in the newcastle game also cause Baines to have to commit a foul right on the edge of the area which could have lead to a goal.

People are just letting their emotions control their brains if they think the overhyped Rodwell is a better bet than the world cup finalist Heitinga.

That's you isn't it Johnny.

A few thoughts on this game.

Chuffed to get the 3 points obviously against a team that are surpassing expectations this year and are in with a good chance of a top 10 finish. Arteta, as everyone has said, produced some of the flowing stuff we've badly missed thus far this year. Baines once again displayed why he's been the best left back in the country this season, Beckford again looked sharp, Distin, Jags - plenty of positives.

I'm still fearful whenever we play Hibbert. He's becoming a liability and Jonas had him for dinner all day. I'd definitely stick Coleman to right back if Neville's out for Brum.

Talking of which, this good win at SJP will mean little if we can't follow it up with a win in a game we should be winning - something we've consistently struggled with all season. Each game now is massive if we're wanting to seriously challenge for Europe, anything other than a win on Wednesday will be hugely disappointing.

So, overall, a job well done and the only disappointing thing about Saturday was how we wasted so many good situations in the 2nd half. We didn't pay for it then, but we must become more clinical.

COYB.

Was praying Heits just hit him at some point but it didnt happen.

But we're a team full of nice guys. Did you see Tiote and Ossie having a scruffle on the touchline? Hibbo was "doing his shinpads" right next to em and didnt help out.

That tiote is one dirty b-----d he should have been sent off, great win though arteta and ossie finding their feet again and saha played well

Best Prem away day for a long long time for me.
The only down side was the 4 goals missing from our performance. If that had been 6-1 (at least), I don't think it would have flattered us at all. We were excellent going forward & looked solid at the back after their goal.
Can't believe Moyes took Beckford off for that other useless lump, added to the pressure we were under at the end not having an outlet, but saying that, since every Heitinga clearance found a Barcode directly, it probably made no difference.
But performance, atmosphere & banter, spot on.
I just wish I didn't have to wait until the Wigan match for my next away day, I just can't get enough......................
