You do realise that Newcastle are 8 points above relegation & also 8 points behind Wolves? Hardly likely to be relegated, unless you think Everton (2 points ahead of Newcastle) are likely to be relegated?

Well Everton have a very favurable run in, and post Silva have shown top 4 form so the likelihood is we continue to close a narrow gap to the top 6.

Newcastle have over performed on most underlying measures (xg etc). Theyve been very fortunate in a number of games. I think they are one of the poorest sides in the league, and without a takeover and substantial spending, they would be one of the favourites to go down next season.

The way the deal is structured doesnt make sense for anyone involved.

No logic in doing the deal now and the % splits make no sense to me.

I could see Staveley taking 5% but how is it 10%+ 10% + 80% something is amiss here.
