The FA ?
I'll be frank, I dont buy it mate. Theres no way the FA would ever turn down money coming into the game.

So Spurs, Wolves, Leicester, Sheffield Utd won't be fighting for Europe. Pretty sure Liverpool will try.Liverpool, Spurs, Leicester, Wolves, Sheffield United and Southampton will all not be fighting for either a title or relegation. A good time to play all of them really.
Why are you not answering the question, how many of the best 6 teams (as measured by a whole season, not part way through a season) have Evertom got to play? Come on, it's not a hard question to answer is it? Have the integrity to answer it.
We definitely were. Most bookies, most pundits, most fans had identified us as among the favourites for the drop. Justifiably so; lost both our top goal scorers, replaced a top coach with a manager with one of the worst win records in the Premier League (for a manager with a decent number of games at that level). And the Newcastle fan feels they are in a false position and are (his words) very lucky to be where they are. I'm inclined to believe him, and the data certainly backs it up.
They are safe this season now though. The point you missed, despite it being pointed out to you in quite a blunt way, was the comment related to the start of the season, where Newcastle were one of the favourites for relegation. (Though I accept, in your head, such a concept as a pre season prediction cant exist).
Dont buy what?

As Everton are not fighting for a title nor against relegation, couldn't it be argued that it's a good time to play them?
What does the best 6 teams from last season have to do with future fixtures? Why has my integrity got anything to do with answering a meaningless, loaded question which is intended to suit your narrative?

We then somehow managed to steal points from unlikely fixtures, Chelsea, yourself, Man City, Man Utd. Not by being particularly good, but through sheer bloody mindedness. We're playing awful disjointed football and had the season completed, I'm sure we'd have ended up closer to the relegation spots as our luck ran out.
This one a kopite or an “other”?So Spurs, Wolves, Leicester, Sheffield Utd won't be fighting for Europe. Pretty sure Liverpool will try.

In fairness to them, thats a good starting point. We wasted a lot of money. What I'd say to them though, is the arrogance that you can blitz the league on easy mode is what contributed to those mistakes. You need to be prepared to be patient and put the infrastructure in first.
You may have seen photos of players in kiddies paddling pools and ice baths in wheelie bins. He forced Rafael out when Rafael tried to change this.
It’s interesting seeing other fans views on your own club. By and large we get viewed as a canny place but when it comes to football we’re a group of fat, deluded, self entitled, Geordie Nation horse bothering knackers and that our near neighbours are a bastion of well grounded fans who know their place.
The reality is, like every other club, we have a small, vocal, set of knackers and a large majority of normal fans who simply love their football.
Sky latched onto NUFC very early on, we came up with an exciting, good, side with a great back story with Keegan and Sir John Hall and his Geordie Nation guff. Since then everything about Newcastle fans has been exaggerated, it’s simply not true that we had average attendances of 12,000, 16,000-17,000 yes, and this was at a time when we had a half demolished, crumbling ground heading for the 3rd division when top Div 1 clubs weren’t doing that much better. Football in the late 70’s early 80’s was a different world. That’s not to say we’re the best fans either and what does that even mean? What is true is that we’ve won nowt for decades and our attendances, compared with others at the same time and respective divisions holds up very well.
Sky and the media through sustained stereo typing endlessly portray the extremes and this over time becomes accepted as the face of that club and fans. Scousers
Anyway, all most Newcastle fans want is for the club to be the best version of itself it can be with the resources it has, be that be in the PL or Northern League. Ashley turned us into an advertising vehicle, used fans as commodities and tried to display a shiny, useable veneer hiding a decaying, dying club behind the scenes. If we were relegated he’d saddle a bit more debt owed to him, we’d come up and the club would die a little more. You may have seen photos of players in kiddies paddling pools and ice baths in wheelie bins. He forced Rafael out when Rafael tried to change this.
As a fan base most of us are desperate for this to go through, it gets the cancer out of our club. We’ve no control over how or to who and we just want to be able to support our club again with some hope that we are at least trying to be that best version.
The hope is that whole region benefits, the Reuben brothers already own quite a chunk of land in the city centre and hopefully have plans to redevelop this area and a longer term plan on a wider scale.
Lastly, I don’t know of one Newcastle fan who actually believes we “deserve” this or believes we will win anything either.
Stay safe everyone.
