Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Moshiri made the mistake of not hiring someone to run the club when it was clear from day one he didn't know how to run it, hence the run of bad managers and bad signings.

Well to a degree yes. It takes time to get the right person and for them to slowly start to have an impact though. It took City time, it took Chelsea time, it took us time, it will take Newcawtle even more time.

Everyone has money now. So if wmeveryine has money other factors start to act as important currency. It will take them time. I hope they feel they just breeze in and get what they want as it will go wrong, and given the level they are at, that fall will undoubtedly see them relegated.

Wolves nearly got relegated from the championship when their ownership first arrived. About 5 years later and they are essentially where we are. They haven't even eclipsed a points total we managed in year 1 under Koeman.

Wolves are the perfect example of why people shouldn't wet the bed on this stuff. 5 years in and they are yet to achieve what Koeman did that's regarded a success story.
Fosun bought wolves first season 15th, second season 1st and promotion, third season 7th and Europa League (something we haven't had for years) fourth season currently 6th and in the last 16 of the Europa despite people saying it was a fluke and they would burn out this season through the extra games

City's first batch of players included Bellamy, robinho, bridge, de jong. If you buy good players your team improves it's that simple.
If they have the same spending as us let's say 500m over 3 years, would poch take that, I think he would.

Its nothing to do with money though - take Mendes link away and they'll have struggled to have signed some of the players they have.

Therefore again - size of owners pockets means little unless the top manager and right recruitment is in place.

Something we messed up with until we finally saw sense and brought in Ancelotti.

It DID work for City. Literally overnight.

It DID work for City, literally overnight. What has a decade got to do with it. Nothing ! There's only one Club can challenge City at present, Liverpool. Some hack has said that people saying the PIF will not invest in Newcastle is crazy. Money is not an object really, they have a painting on one of their yachts worth £400 million. !!!. The word investment is the operative word. They won't just buy and leave it at that. Where they can throw money at Newcastle, they WILL and they have serious ambitions got Newcastle. What's crazy about it is being a billionaire doesn't seem to cut it now, you have to be a multi billionaire ! Do Newcastle fans card about the human rights, probably yes but will look the other way. Thirteen years of Ashley spending an average of 7.5 m a season on players, who can blame them. All this utter garbage about " I would hate the Saudis as owners " is laughable and pathetic. Henry Winter is spot on, Clubs will be worried about Newcastle's spending power but it is undoubtedly going to make the Premiership more exciting.

A decade ago, pre FFP

Your squad is garbage and worth nothing on paper. Unless they've got dodgy sponsorship deals lined up, it'll be more of the same from your lot – which has been crap since the 60s

Inappropriate Behaviour
Well firstly you have insinuated I am being dishonest. You are now essentially falsifying all sorts of things. I sense when you get challenged, you get in a bit of a hump and start being ridiculous. Just to add one final thing before I address your idiocy, I've seen you say weve got nothing on the horizon. We are due to move into a world class, new modern stadium, in a world renowned location. It will make your ground look like a tin pot shack.

As for the 2nd part, it doesnt make much sense. Newcastle and Everton are worlds apart from City/Liverpool. Yes perhaps so. Newcastle and Everton are worlds apart too. You have finished above us once in 14 years, in a period that is one of Evertons poorest periods in our history. Even at our worst, you are still miles behind us. (In that same period weve finished above City and Liverpool multiple times). So yes, City and Liverpool are miles ahead of us, and we are miles ahead of you. That's how far you have to come. You are in essence indistinguishable to Sunderland Middlesborough compared to Everton. Both have probably finished below Everton similar amount of times to you, and had a similar number of relegations in that time.

Then you say we wont be competing, but contradict yourself by saying you (I presume) will now be competing with City and Liverpool. You wont be. No amount of money will allow you to do, for some time.

I'll try and make this clear for you, as perhaps I've been a bit too polite- from a position substantially better tha where you are, we have spent the 3rd most in English football history, and it's taken us 4 years to get to a point where we are in any way approaching being able to compete at the top end. Looking at the antics of the owners so far, and the oil crisis (that you laughably seemed to think is going to magically go "back to normal") it is very unlikely in probability terms you have the level of investment we had. It's possible, but unlikely. And even then, you are several years behind.

Let me tell you what happens this summer if you aim to go for a top player/manager. He goes "who? Newcastle, you mean that yo yo club near Sunderland in the back end of nowhere with the outdated stadium and appalling training facilities. The club who've not been in Europe for a decade and not won a league in about 100 years. I'll give it a miss thanks".

Even in your best case scenario, where oil magically recovers a group of owners who wont pay the asking for (cant raise the funds perhaps) and are relying on Mike Ashley for a loan to help fund it magically put the billions in you need, you still dont get the top players.

You are in for a rude awakening. Now, I dont need to your opinion on Everton, my levels of honesty or anything else, as you clearly are an inept judge of situation. But get with the program before you get too let down in the long run.
Sorry I stopped reading after you said " oil magically recovers ", sniggers. Really, everyone buying electric motors. Said on my net programme on 5 live that the oil market will recover extremely quickly. Your point about years behind. I refer back to my earlier question. " where do you think you are ". It wasn't three months ago you were in the bottom three and threads like " whey're going this time ," and " relegation is inevitable " were posted regularly. We haven't won anything for ,57 years but it's been decades for you too. If you think Newcastle - nor any Club - with heavy investment are " many years " behind you, I suggest you are the deluded one. You never came back with one cogent argument saying that with investment, a good Manager we could push for a top six place. Why not.? You as a Club are no where near being years ahead of Newcastle. As for Pochattino not coming to Newcastle - ever, we'll see. I'm a realist, said with significant investment Newcastle could compete. That argument is irrefutable. Fans will look at their Club with rose tinted glasses but you're view of Everton's current standing on the PL is utterly delusional. Keep taking the Olanzapiine son, remember max dose is 20mg a day. Sleep well and be safe.
