Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

The issues Newcastle will face are ultimately similar to ours.

Getting the right people in.
Navigating FFP
Convincing players who the top four may want to come to them. Remember many players will wait for Utd, City etc so Newcastle may well face panic stations that we do.

They will be more competitive, it will mean 7 or 8 can't go into four so hopefully it will create some imbalance in the current power overtime.

Reckon we can still sell them Tom Davies? £70 million. Okay, to you guys £60 million. Bargain. Deal?
This isn’t as far fetched as it seems (not 70m but they might actually buy him in January).

These are the positives, their wealth being spread among other clubs.

The cold facts are though, if they are in the bottom 3 they are going to have to pay over the odds for average players just to try and get them out of this mess.

anybody who thinks this are all of a sudden going to start attracting world stars is living in dreamland.

I kind of envisaged how the conversation with Swansea went over Gylfi when they knew we were wetting our keks to spend.

It’s just incredible to me that a place that is so backwards thinking, stuck in a bygone era, socially and morally corrupt and with such an awful reputation across the globe is getting so much attention through this. But enough about Newcastle......

Last friday The premier league was accused of blocking the deal because man u and liverpool told them to block it, I personally wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Accused of blocking the deal were Spurs, United, Liverpool and the premier league themselves.

None of them blocked a deal, they all said their piece about it and the league questioned their regime's streaming piracy and if the state is separate from the investment. So PIF pulled out.

Now they've sorted that, apparently. So it's all go.

No one from what I know blocked anything.

yup. the Premier League don't give a stuff about Human Rights, Equality etc.. but if you go anywhere near messing with messing with their Copyright or TV deals you will bear the full brunt of their wrath.

Yeah this. I think people are actually expecting Lautaro Martinez to rock up in January, they’re going to be in a relegation battle, people need to seriously get real. They’ll be signing players like Adama Traore and Ward-Prowse for a combined £150m.

First thing that got sorted was them releasing the ban on BeIN sports in Saudi.

Once that was done...here's the keys mate.

The decision now means that Premier League, UEFA and FIFA matches will be legally broadcast in the country which has the biggest market in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Saudis have also approached beIN to settle their legal cases, including a $1bn investment arbitration, which could be seen as a major boost for the Newcastle takeover.

Anyone who thinks the big six don't get something out of this is naive.
It will come out in time.
