Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

The issues Newcastle will face are ultimately similar to ours.

Getting the right people in.
Navigating FFP
Convincing players who the top four may want to come to them. Remember many players will wait for Utd, City etc so Newcastle may well face panic stations that we do.

They will be more competitive, it will mean 7 or 8 can't go into four so hopefully it will create some imbalance in the current power overtime.
They can spend well over 500 mil in the next window and still be in FFP regs

I'm confused, will someone please explain in ways that a 5 - 10 year old would understand how Newcastle, Man City, PSG and the like can spend millions according to everything that I am reading, but Everton who apparently are backed by 2 of the richest guys in the world are negotiating deals from the middle aisle in Netto.
Neither Newcastle or City are a worldwide brand, so it has to be money from the owners pocket? Our owner is willing to spend, but can't because of regulations??
A good lawyer should be able to throw this in the bin for restriction of trade.
It's like an engineering firm being told that they can't buy the latest machine because they might get better than their competitors??

Meh, football, at the highest level, has long since lost its grip on reality. At best it was holding on with it fingertips. This is just another story to add to all the others.
Football as the working man's sport was finished the day Murdoch got his hands on it.
When they allow the so called big six to join a super league while maintaining there presence in the premier league (and they will) is the day I will be done with it.

That fearless The Atlantic journalist Keith Azul had better take care now the Camel Punchers are backed up by the Saudis.
The last thing anyone wants is for him to be chased around his garden by an Arabian hit-squad after his neck with a pair of garden shears

1 of them hasn’t even happened yet like.

But we did have a chance to spend big (and did) we just spent it horribly.

We’re like that chav fella who won the lottery and ended up back on the dole within a few years.

Agree about it not being the most desirable place to live. However that’s not really an issue. When Owen signed for them he just used to take his helicopter to training and then fly out afterwards.
Owen was English, look how unhappy James was here with the wether and it’s worse there

the great bit about that is that we’ve done far better at Netto than we did visiting that artisanal store buying all those organic no.10s

in fact if last summer is any measure I hope we have no money for the next few windows as well

Nothing we haven't experienced considering we've watched the lot next door win 2x Champions Leagues, a league title and a few FA/League Cups in recent years.

I wish Usmanov would just sack off FFP and just dope us enough to win a trophy im not arsed if they ban us from europe or give us a points deduction just give us an FA Cup and I'll be happy lol

You’d take a massive points deduction for breaking Premier League financial rules which risk putting the club in relegation danger in exchange for possibly having a slight chance of winning the FA Cup?
