Well said, Sassy. Surprised more haven't mentioned this. There's no doubt Khashoggi's murder was ordered by the Saudi crown prince and there have been multiple human rights abuses under his rule, including the execution of children.

For the PL to allow it is a disgrace. I suspect there have been plenty of backhanders involved.

Newcastle have sold their soul to the devil. It's a sad day for English football.

I didn't say 'better'. I said 'bigger'. Because it is.

The Saudi state/PIF buying a club is bigger than anything that has been seen in English football. Indeed, European football, because of the wealth involved.

These are fachts, David. The PIF alone is worth what, £230billion?

City's owners are worth £23bn.

Erm, do you mean on here or in the wider world/real life? Because it's been mentioned, extensively, and rightly so.

Money talks, we even have allowed armed kidnap on our streets to go unchecked by this regime... And no surprise Jamie Reuben, son of the property entrepreneur and Conservative Party donor David Reuben is involved.
 

If they don't get relegated this season they will fly passed us spending probably half the money we've been spending over the last 10 years almost. They will get a better caliber playernon the media hype alone. And I can't see them being as daft as us. They'll spend silly money but won't get as silly the players we got.

City didn't turn into city overnight but it will happen. Sad that ultra rich owners such as takes over its only a matter of when they win something. Where is the sport in that?

They're value is 500m dollars, so about 350m pounds.

I have no idea why they have invested in Newcastle. Let's see how committed they are. Staveley is a compulsive liar.

And Newcastle have won nothing for 50 odd years. So I'd say Malaga were bigger myself.
