Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Don’t really think we can slate anyone, in the premier league era we are arguably the most pointless team of that age. Won nothing, don’t compete for anything, appeared in 1 CL qualifier and one FA cup final in 26 years. We are a big club historically but right now we are nothing.
And a liar she may be, but she’s had a hand in making them the wealthiest club on the planet.

Erm...won an FA Cup in the premier league era too.

If Conte has said no, there is not a chance they have as much backing as people seem to be suggesting.

not sure about that - as with City, whoever takes the job first is probably going to end up as a booster rocket , ie: get them to 6th - 8th and then be discarded for the next stage

so one would imagine Moist or possibly B-Rod are most in their thinking, or Benitez

Yes exactly this. I'm not saying they dont back Newcastle, potentially quite heavily, but that this fund is exclusively for Newcastle is patently untrue.

Is anyone saying that though? City's owners wealth isn't exclusively for City to spend either, Moshiri/Usmanov wealth isn't entirely for us to spend. They're still gonna have the richest ownership in the league, fact.

There is talk that Mike Ashley is considering buying Derby County.Apparently the Newcastle experience hasn't put him off football and I suppose as a shrewd businessman over 150 million profit on Newcastle is probably worth the abuse he has recieved.
Cost of Derby 60/70 million to clear the debts and a quid for club.

Genuinely sickening to see the Premier League abandon all morality to allow the murderous mafia of Saudi to get involved in the league. It honestly couldn't be any worse. Those Newcastle fans dressing up in turbans and swigging beer hailing their new leaders ought to be ashamed of themselves.
