Newcastle will be fine for me. Don't appear to have the "headless chicken syndrome" of Everton 6 years ago. A big Summer spree will have them mid table and looking up next season to stabilise themselves as a Premier league club.

Why would football fans let themselves get so angry? Surely that's a reflection of them.

Have a look through @YorkieG posts for example. To me, very measured and realistic. We have disagreed, but honestly I think you need to do something about some of your anger issues mate. You cant live your life being so angry because a team may or may not win a trophy.

Doing whatever they can righty now to stay up after on a couple of wins for the season from 21 matches. I think in January, they can't have achieved much better in their current position. Money isn't a concern for them. They'll go hard in the Summer.

Well it's a choice isnt it? They are awful signings long term. Let's see if in the 2nd window they change direction and do it differently.

They will try to go big. But if they go big, buying championship/bottom half premiership reserves, they are not going to improve much.

Looks like Wilson could be out for rest of the season. They really needed a proven goalscorer 8n Jan.

Good point. Wilson is top goal scorer. Next is ASM with 5, not brilliant but ok, after that they are struggling to score goals. Wood has come in but I can’t see him being prolific. I think this is the big issue for them, putting the ball in the net.
