Fonseca or someone of similar profile probably represents the best we can do.

I'm all for aiming high but shouts for Simeone are just not realistic, and Tuchel seemingly wasn't interested.

It's the next Simeone or the next Pochettino we should be looking for.

We won't attract Fonseca if any of the sides above us are interested but that's why we need to be decisive and make a move as soon as possible.

Its as simple as this.

I agree but I think the board lack the ambition.
We had chances with the manager and our transfers to make real statements but seem to be paying average managers and players Champions League wages and transfers.
I fear that this wastefulness will see a much more cautious approach and can see a certain old boy back in charge and not Moyes.

We should have gave bobby more time and support.
Martinez showed that he was pretty poor in the transfer market. I'd say that at most, five of his purchases were successful, while the majority were failures, some spectacularly so. His transfer record at Wigan was bad as well.

This ws, of course, on top of his many other manifest failings. But then, anyone who still wanted Martinez as our manager clearly wilfully ignores facts, and thinks that reaching semi-finals is "success".
