He lost his dressing room though? And didn’t he sign cleverly for Watford and give us actual currency for him.
I dont know what happened there. The players' form obviously dropped and they may have sought to punish him. He's got some good ideas how to play football though.

In an ideal world, yes. If we get beat on Saturday (with Stoke away and City and Liverpool to come after that) I wouldn't rule it out - although I think the board would like to avoid that scenario and not have Watford whingeing in the media and complicating matters.

I can only think that' the reason why it hasn't happened yet........or Moshiri has changed his mind to someone else.......or he doesn't have a clue what he's doing......

Word round the campfire is the image that having 4 managers in 1 season would give the club.

Also Silva is currently taking Watford to court.

And we have moved on!

I honestly think he would be a manager the majority would get behind as well Dave.

Huge pressure on fat head to get some results before City and the scruffs roll into town. Saturday is massive. Anything less than a win and I think a change will be needed sharpish. Well, a change is needed now imo but that probably won't happen unless it turns absolutely nasty
I do mate. I have a feeling the trigger will be pulled this weekend if we lose to Brighton. It will be very serious if that happens.

I will get behind him and support him like I support every clown, at first, but mark my words, hes not the 1.

What do you think MG, would you stick or twist as things stand right now ( or for talking sake we get beat Saturday or draw ). You wouldn't take Silva No?

Not sure what it is but I just have a feeling he's got something about him. Maybe because we've had 2 massive fat heads as managers ( well 3 if we count Unsworth ) maybe I just want a normal sized headed manager.

Of course mate, but I think the damage was done whilst we were tap dancing round Silva and Fonseca and then went full on Michael Flatley river dance when getting Bisto Boy.

From the outside looking in that made us look like a right tit of a club so another sacking wouldn't make it any worse

imo

I will never bash a manager if the results are right, it’s easy to spout off saying sam this and that before we had even kicked a ball under him, we were all pissed off with the appointment but we couldn’t argue with the results.

Now though he has been given adequate opportunity to get his stamp on the team, and I’m not liking the stamp, so while yes he is cack, I can hold my head up high and say atleast I have the fat mess a chance.

Spot on really mate. Even the first 7 games where we were undefeated and I thought we played turd in the majority of those but if you pick up results it doesn't wreck your day/weekend so it can be tolerated.

Wins matter. Results matter.

I was onboard for Silva, then Watford fell off a cliff, im aware of the mitigating factors as to why, mainly us, but he had his chance, he could have said 3 magic words to the press and he would be our manager now, the 3 words would have been "I want Everton".

Then theres his club hopping ways, a trait he shares with my first choice Paulo!

I dunno mate, currently I dislike him.

As to what I would do, results would determine that, anything less than a win on Saturday and I would prolly P45 the clown, then sadly I would re-appoint Unsy. But thats me, if Mosh really wants Silva then as soon as we sack Sam appoint Silva, but there will a few managers moving clubs in the Summer, if "we" have doubts about Silva, we should probably wait till the summer when hopefully we will have slightly more choice, sadly The Mosh gets played by Agents and prolly thinks we have a chance with a Diego, an Emery or even a Conte, we have ZERO chance of appointing even a Paulo IMO, so in that case, Silva would be the "best" choice.

TL;DR
I hate the rat for not making more fuss, ironically, sack Sam if we dont win on Saturday, even if we appoint Jimmy Martin.

Yeah, to me Silva's response to our interest told me everything I needed to know about him. What if he gets half way through next season, we are top 4, and someone comes calling? He cant keep his team together, and if you cant manage men, you have no business being manager no matter how good your tactics.

Its not enough to have talent, or good ideas, the reality is you WILL have ups and downs and good managers are those that can navigate both them, the clubs, and their more difficult players through them with grace.

If we get relegated, its over, it doesnt even matter at that point.

If we lose on Saturday, we have to move fast and install a new man in the dugout. I think we're fortunate for once having an international break coming up to let a new manager come in and have time to assess and pick teams to face Liverpool and City...and at least one of those games could be interesting if we went in with a new manager boost.

No question on Allardyce this week: win that game or he's out, because there will be pandemonium if we dont secure three of the "easiest" points we have for the rest of the season.
