great seeing the names people want for the job, but do you honestly think a big name will come here, Martinez, koeman moyes, that's where we are, at the moment, think we need to calm down and remember how good we really are

We could just get some second rater from Germany like the RS did.........

This is why it's key Moshiri hires the best possible people he can who understand the business.

There's a massive cavern between what we on a forum think we know and what industry insiders know. Youse clearly got word that he was a very good coach and took his experience into context. We need to do exactly the same with whoever we appoint.

Very true the board should have the courage of their convictions for example there was blue murder after the Southampton game and they panicked yet 3 days later we trounce West Ham with Allardyce looking on if they had held their nerve we wouldn't have such an awful manager now.

In the event of a defeat (or even draw) against Brighton, I wouldn't give us much chance of a point in the following three games, and that could provide the slippery slope down into the Championship for us.

I'd expect a dramatic move following the game on Saturday if all 3 points aren't secured. A change feels imminent to me.

Steve Walsh will have a twitchy ring piece during the game......

Now look, I'm just going to throw a name in the hat here but what about Martin Jol?

I know a lot of blues may be forgiven for wanting to "pass the dutchie" but I'm sure the spurs fans who post here will agree with me that they wouldn't be where they are today without the work he did.

Think on.

Martin Jol, Martin Jol, he was a fraudster, he wanted to be Romeo Zondervan !!

Fair play if it is actually him, but I still stand by the fact that it's a random shout that no one should be taking at face value. He way well sign a contract, but doesn't mean that he was ITK about it.

They’ve literally nailed tons of info in the past, also had the odd thing wrong, but if Fonseca does indeed sign a new contract in the next week it’s pretty likely it was info. If he signs it in like a month or two then fair enough I’d say theyre guessing, but who’s arsed anyway.

Fonseca is the one I want so I hope he/she is wrong

Unless there’s open revolt at FF, then I can’t see any circumstances that’ll see fat head launched before May. We need 4 points from 9 games (barring a freak set of results st the bottom) to ensure PL survival, and we’ve averaged not far off 1.5 points per game under Allardyce. We’ll get the points we need, and then he’ll get his cheque.

Would rather have Harry Redknapp

We should try to get Hannes Wolf as our next manager. He did a really good job in the BVB youth academy (3 times in a row the u17/ u19 champion of the country). He can work with yount talents, risinged up with Stuttgart last year and was sacked from the job, after he said, that he is not sure to be the right coach anymore. Of course, the results this season have not been the best, but he is a coach with very much talent and he could work with a lot of young players in Everton.

He would not be the first coach, wo went from Dortmund to GB to have succed. Wagner, Klopp and in the future also Farke has shown that.

I am sure it is a now name and he might not be on the list, but I hope is. This good be a great combination.

Very optimistic.

We have a stadium to get funding for. Do you think it makes it easy to attract funds when the club is dancing on the trap door?

Everton need minimum 8 points to be seen to avoid being look like a basket case that could constantly be in relegation fights in the coming seasons.

Would like to see Dieter Hecking down at Finch Farm giving one of his stares to players swinging the lead.
