The problem with that is you are basically "throwing away" 10 matches a year. He's had it twice at Southampton(and BARELY avoided being sacked because of) and has now done it twice with us. You can't afford to just be fine with 10 matches a year of total and absolute crap.
You’re talking about most clubs outside the top six mate. And some of them in it.

Anyone willing to get pace in at the back and up front.

I presume the step up from League 1 to Premier League is too great so that rules out Paul Hurst who has done a pretty remarkable job at Shrewsbury in the last 12 months. Bottom and adrift when he took over, kept them up and now unbeaten and top by 4 points this season.

I think we should bring Peter Reid in just to do the half time team talk.......wonder what he would have said to them at half time today.

Well it's the ~10 consecutive ones that Im referring to. And then also all the other dross outside of it.

I dunno, I just can't see being OK with a run of games like he has every single year in the Premier League.
I think it was only one of his 3 seasons with Southampton he had a run like that mind.

I would go for Rafael Benitez. I no people will say I am mad but he has premier league experience and has won lots of trophies.
