Indeed we are. Agreed.Sacking managers is fine if you've got a load of cash to spend afterwards. In our situation it isn't very advisable. We're more likely to end up like Villa than we are Spurs.
We have only just joined the premier league competitively and financially moreso. Sacking managers occasionally is a dangerous trend we don’t really wanna engage in.
Taking one year’s data doesn’t prove a point mate. Plus I doubt we’re gonna agree regardless so I’ll leave you to get back to what you were doing.
* average points total of La Liga Champions is 95, for Premier League is 86, but hey! Data and agendas.
Enjoy man.I could run and run with this but it's late and there's a load of Tory bashing on the Sunday Politics repeat that I'm missing. As you were lads...

So back to Koeman and Everton as I was saying, due to the competitiveness of the Premier League there’s no real shortcuts into sustainable success. It’s well chartered that hiring and firing managers often is likely to be more unsuccessful than work. So perhaps a bit of patience is a virtue. Maybe even too for managers widely lauded by their own fanbase two months ago.

Fair points mate. I feel it too. I just think now isn’t the time to jib him. There's absolutely no shortcuts to sustainable success, outside of having an oil-state backing you, in any major league. We ain't that special in that regard Chico but - it's moot, because it remains that there's no shortcuts for Everton Football Club.
Which is why hiring a 'big name' manager and chucking a couple hundred milli at him with no sodding plan is utterly thick. And will remain utterly thick. Patience with an utterly thick plan does not, unfortunately, reduce its utter thickness. Sack Koeman, sack Walsh, get a proper bloody progressive and effective recruitment and managerial structure in place. Look at absolutely any other club in Europe who have successfully enacted a sustainable long-term plan for breaking through to the next level. There's clear themes, processes and ways of doing it, and we ain't doing any of it. And we never will with these plodders in charge, I can promise you.
