Which part doesn't?
The part where he's literally never done this job in his life?
He's a wonderful manager. For a top team with top talent.

Who would you got for?The part where he's literally never done this job in his life?

Whilst doing the managerial merry-go-round is pretty sure not to 'work', there's also nothing to show that 'having patience' works either. Only one I can think of that working with is Ferguson. Hundreds of other managers have failed to get it together by having time.
I tend to agree with that and that is why I am still hesitant to pull the trigger.
However.....to stick with this bloke and allow this malaise to deepen will be just as disastrous.....but probably much quicker.
This guy is not going to turn it round IMO.
I doubt even the staunchest Koemantonian believes he will at this stage.
And I believe he will be gone at the end if the season anyway.
But even if he ain't, he will deffo be gone at the end of next season.
He has no desire to stay here in the long term and IMO this is being reflected on the pitch.
Which us why I am really veering toward getting rid.
Who would you got for?
Don't have any names I'd be willing to stand by. It's a really hard question to answer if you aren't involved in the club.
I'd be fascinated to see Ancelotti manage Everton but it's an intensely bizarre fit in my eyes.
Any more of a bizarre fit than Rafael going the Barcodes would you say?

Not at all.A club like us should be aiming to hire the best managers and sign the best players. It's not a bizarre fit at all.Koeman is not going to bring us back to the elite. We are forever doomed to plod along finishing 7th or 8th at best every season with him.Good god the Koeman era at the moment is like death by a thousand cuts!
You misunderstand, I've wanted Koeman out since August. I just think high profile isn't necessarily what we need right now, and Ancelotti is the perfect example of an extremely good manager who would probably not be very good at what we need currently.
Tim Cahill.
Spot on, Riddick.
We are between the proverbial rock and the hard place..
Chopping and changing managers only works for very wealthy teams....they can afford to pay off managers and give them a transfer budget and eventually get it right.
For the majority of teams it is the road to no town.
Conversely, sticking with failing managers, giving them "time" as it were, has not worked since Ferguson and before that our own beloved Howard.
But that was a different era....neither of those two managers would get the three years of failure they were accorded back then.
I really don't know what we should do for the best
Realistically Koeman probably has another month, but he'll have to go undefeated or close to it to keep his job. Mid season isn't a very good time to get a new manager, just who is going to come in and do a job? Other sacked managers. Ancelotti, he's only had very talented players at his disposal, not sure how his temprement will hold given less talented players.
My shout for interim manager this year - Guus Hiddink
Pros
1. Has been able to come in as interim manager and stop the rot quickly
2. Can get the entire team to play as a unit
3. Has experience managing top players as well as inferior players and get results (Australia, South Korea)
4. Can win a cup competition
5. Tactically astute
Cons
1. Is old (70)
2. Currently contracted to North Korea as Director of Development (Is Kim Jong Un going to let him go?, maybe they'll let him go for six months.)
