Thanks for putting it in caps. I can see it now.

My view is that sorting the defence would leave a better basis for attack. As bad as it is that we don’t have a striker, we have better players in the attacking positions than we do in the defensive positions. Sort out the defence and the rest will follow. I think that means sticking with a set back line, either a three or a four.

So who's scores mate? Who? You know playing a 21 yr old kid who's scored once in 20 games is asking for disaster. It's like ping pong as we can't even hold the ball up. Mori coming back at a point will help but it's were we will be by then. We need to spend to stay up

This. The defence is something we can actually sort here and now, whereas we don't actually have a striker so theres nothing we can do about it

Very sadly I am driven to the conclusion that we need a manager who knows the league and up until January when we can bring in desperately needed replacements can shore up the defence and make us hard to beat.

Unfortunately that points to Dyche , Allardyce and even , possibly , Moyes.

I think we underestimate the perilous position that we are in at our cost.
I had to read that a few times before I finally accepted it wasn't a typo.

I want somebody solid, i want somebody safe.

Pellegrini or Allardyce as they would organise and sort these clowns out.

Watford is now a massive game, we need somebody in today or tomorrow at the latest.
Haha...Even if Moshiri would do the desicion to get new man in NOW it would take two weeks minimum

It's a crisis but we cant afford to panic either.

In our urgency to see some distance between us and the bottom three places let's not lumber ourselves with a dog of a manager who will take us backwards in the long term.

No hoof ball managers should be considered. We have spent the last 4/5 seasons trying to wean ourselves away from that primitivism. It takes real cool leadership now to find a way out of this mess by getting a man in who can instil the fight and organisation we need but who also can build us as a team using the right footballing principles.

Tuchel would be ideal, IMO. I also think someone like Mancini takes no prisoners and would get us going as a football team again.

Am hoping your right, do you think we should make an appointment now or after watford game?

But we've already come too far down that road. We are now a dog of a team with hardly any technically accomplished footballers in sight, it's impossible to ask this squad to play anything like decent football. Points on the board should be our one and only concern at this moment in time.
