Think he'd have had Costa - and no doubt others, Welbeck etc? even if not perfect solutions. Llorente is one we should have tried harder for I think....I think Koeman. like I said Giroud was his one and only-and I think he rejected every other striker option !
Remember what the divvy said: "We had other targets but they were lower level and we couldn't get the player we wanted" <---- paraphrasing but pretty much that.Thought we were scrabbling around for Benteke, Costa, Bas Dost and the Portuguese lid on the last day of the window?
None of whom wanted to come.
I think he specified the players he'd like to see come in - Walsh and team then led execution of the transfers, as well as inputting ideas re who we should sign....It's everyone else's fault other than Koeman's...the players, Walsh, Giroud's missus, the misaligning of the stars...
He bought that squad and he owns the mess that goes with it.
There was no other striker in the world other than Giroud. His hands were tied.

It would have but we would still have struggled to be in the top half which is criminal when you think of the money that was spent (even with Lukaku going).Yes maybe - think it would have really helped though - taken the pressure of the young strikers also
So now Koeman is gone what do you think of Walsh? It's everyone else's fault other than Koeman's...the players, Walsh, Giroud's missus, the misaligning of the stars...

Well yes - that's because obviously others were involved in the process.........as said, "Everyone but Ronald".
I reckon that'll be a sitcom on Dutch tv shortly.
In reality neither should have gone - Moshiri should have had the bottle to weather the storm. But the pressure was such that a head had to role - made sense that that was the manager as generally that's the role held accountable, even if others in the club are equally culpable...So now Koeman is gone what do you think of Walsh?
Willing to give him a chance or equally to blame.
Don't get duped by fake Twitters, Frandels.
