Just read an interview with Ancelotti, where he mentioned being linked to Everton. Talked about going somewhere he could be involved with a 'project' and being 'given time'. Sounds like a 'yes' to me. At least it wasn't a 'no'. :)

I dint hod with the position he has. DoF are just another level of bureaucracy a football club doesn't need.
It makes sense when you consider a premiership manager will only last 2 years. We can't keep rebuilding every 2 years.

Whether Walsh is capable or allowed to do that job who knows.

General rule of thumb is there is about 4 people who ever have news on Everton - and you already know those names, other news about the club would then be based on who it came from - as if it involves another clubs players or manager then some journos have reps with various other clubs etc.

Bloke you've never heard of says something, file it in the whopper section
I don't know. Someone leaked the team sheet about 2 or 3 hours before kickoff and I hadn't heard of him.

Sometimes it's the randoms that are true but like the team sheet ITK for some reason you can tell which are a load of balls and which aren't.

Normally the ones linking us to the likes of Tuchel and Ancelotti are balls if I'm honest.

Will Walsh have a say on who becomes next manager here though? That will determine whether there can be seamless transitions. My guess is no, and Moshiri will be guided by Kenwright or his other mates in the industry.

If he doesn't then he's not the director of football and we are overpaying for a glorified scout.

If that's the case then the problems are at board level. No one could work in those circumstances.

i dont know but if he did then i would assume his mate Allardyce would be top of his list.
