Anyone who has openly associated themselves with the job via the media are not serious contenders.

That rules Allardyce and Moyes right out.

That's just them using the Everton managerial vacancy to get publicity and to breathe life into their half dead careers.

It's Dyche if he wants it. If not they'll go for Silva and pay what they have to.

How in God's name has it come to this?
Blue Bill mate...We will never move forward while he is still here hes a kin dinosaur and

Blue Bill mate...hes a kin dinosaur...we will stagnate and probably submerge as we are at present...thats one selfish fokka..
I simply cannot believe that Fat Sam or Kin Dyche are even being talked about let alone considered...Whats the answer ? Who the f uk knows..but aint one of those...If we appoint one of those we may stabilise..but will be even further away ..kin ell Sunday morning is normally chilled...maybe its the thought of going the game today and its filling me with dread:rolleyes:

This is how I look at it, the fact that the board are in the bunker with their tin helmets on is a worrying sign, any decent manager with a know how for tactics would turn this around, cool heads were and are needed during this period for the club, doesn't look like they've got one between them
Cool heads indeed but we have been absolutely dire this season. Our performances are genuinely relegation fodder. Apart from the second half at chelsea, even the games we've won, we have been pretty terrible. We should be able to turn it around, there should be enough in the squad but there should have been enough in Leeds and Newcastle's squads when they went down. The last thing we need is people thinking we are too good to go down. We clearly are one of the worst teams in the league this season and our position so far is genuine regardless of who we've played. It's unbelievable we have sleepwalked into this situation.

The weird thing is we have given Unsworth the four games and up to now lost three of them but there has been no rumour other than Dyche and what BFS is manufacturing in the press as to who we might get. Worrying really, seems like they hoped Unsworth would transform the side and results and they could give it him for the rest of the season.

Hopefully we are working away behind the scenes to bring in a proper manager and the papers are doing their usual nonsense of inventing stories to fill column inches.
If there is a power struggle going on between Kenwright and Moshiri the choice of our next manager will be an indication of who is winning.

To me all the signals and rumours point to Dyche.

We win today.....pressure will ease & give us time to think clearly....The new Manager must be the right decision it is paramount...

Koeman was probably sacked to early after knee jerk reactions to very bad displays, he needed more time for new players to gel & 2 get a system that suited the players....

If it was going to be Allardyce it would’ve been done sooner surely. Why wait weeks when he is free?[/QUOTE
It's rumoured that anyone who employs Allardyce has to pay his last club Crystal Palace £2.5 million compensation.
Everton being Everton will balk at this and spend weeks trying to avoid paying this while the team gets left further behind in the league!
