It has to be Dyche from the Burnley Football Club.

He's certainly got a much better pedigree than Moyes had before we appointed him.

Two promotions to the Prem and currently riding high with Burnley after spending nothing.

Would he come here, though? The Moyes appointment was nailed on because he was with a club in the lower divisions, but Burnley are in the Prem & Dyche seems happy at Turf Moor.

For me there is no realistic candidate right now for a long term appointment.

Would Carlo come ? No.
Tuchel? Maybe but I fear he goes Bayern next summer.
Rhino? Unproven.

My gut would however be Rhino till the end of the year almost probably assisted by Royle.

Then review at end of year.

I would love Carlo to get the gig personally.

No other team with top half or higher ambitions would hire him mate, love the bloke but he needs to learn at the top level at another club first.

The risk of him being another Harvey is too great at this time to risk.

I can't quite believe they chose Koeman over Lucien Favre in the first place.

He was my first choice as well. Frustrating as we know we definitely made an approach from the man himself, then in typical Everton fashion left him hanging with not a clue what was going on. Chance missed for me.
That said if we are to get another manager there's no reason we can't attempt to prise him from Nice. I live in hope.

Not ideal but a better choice than Unsworth for me. If it comes to it I hope we do better than either of them though.
