I've been told we're sending a delegation to hold further talks with Watford

Classic ....never fails.

Did poorly at hull? He took over a side that had an 13% win rate from day one of the season to jan and turned that into a 36% win rate with the same garbage phelean had to deal with (enough to be comfortable in any season). I'm sorry But that's just utter nonsense.

Even the fella who has that shambles of a squad now in the championship has a 23% win rate.

Did ok at olymipakos? Breaking an all time win record and beating the like of arsenal and Barca.

I think there are some who are seriously underestimating this guys credentials.

He was employed to keep them up, he failed.

I realise that Hull were always going down, but its a black mark for me.

I praised him for his jobs in Portugal, hes without question the most outstanding candidate.

And no, I dont consider Tuchel, Simeone or other unrealistic names candidates.

I agree in the most part. I just can not see how it's possible to say he did a poor job at hull. It was an incredible transformation.

Big Sam would have kept them up!!!!!!

You say it was the same squad Phelan had, he signed 8 players in the January window.

He gave it a good shot, but he failed to keep them up, so IMO he failed, it doesnt mean I dont want him, but I certainly wouldnt be putting relegating a team in the positive column.

Silva would be an amazing appointment. What he did in Greece was quite remarkable. And he very nearly did the impossible with Hull.

Still think we'll get Dyche like.

I'm utterly disappointed with the entire charade. Not the first time Everton have made me feel that way, definitely won't be the last.

Get a shift on Mosh, ffs.

Silva at Hull

Winning 7 from 18 is not incredible, good but not incredible, especially when you consider

Everton 4 Hull 0
Palace 4 Hull 0
Hull 1 Spurs 7
Hull 0 Sunderland 2
Fulham 4 Hull 1

Lack of decisiveness. Doesn't really show clear leadership from the top level. Feels like we'll get what we end up with, rather than a plan being executed with all the dependant parts being in place.

Don't want to follow the West Ham model of just getting the first available manager but would like to feel that the club are in control in some way.
