Presumably will be solved at some point but extremely damaging for the club unless the board pull out a Simeone or Ancelotti. Anyone else will just be seen as second choice (why wouldn’t they have been approached immediately) and these spineless coward players will know so and down tools again. We look indecisive and incompetent, the only way those labels don’t stick is for a manager of the highest profile to be appointed. Have a guess whether this will happen or not, ha.

It's pretty simple ( here's my take ) we win Saturday they don't rush the new manager in ( maybe another week odd ) or they keep unsworth which is to risky.

If we lose expect a new manager Sunday/ Monday
After a month there shouldn't be any delays for a competent club in all honesty.

Even the fact that after a month we aren't any closer to one is a bit of a joke really. As we haven't gave unsworth the job for the season (wbich hiring him would be ridiculous anyway) we obviously still don't know who to hire.

That's how bad this club is footballing wise. Not arsed about off field positives anymore , not arsed about stadiums or sponsorship deals. The fact is we are incompetent in both hiring a manager for the team and signing players.

When the club fails at both then there is little to be excited for. Whoever we hire after this long has to be right and has to be big. Hiring Sam or dyche for example isn't good enough and shows how desperate the board is at doing something. We obviously don't want either but ffs a month to just be rejected by a club? As siggurdson proved in tbe summer it could be a while yet until we hire someone and by then it will be too late to even muster up a half arsed season

We put on a koemanesque performance Vs Palace, Unsworth is gone, the fat sam panic button gets pressed and not just for 6mts. It'll be sod the expense of his longer contract

Considering Unsworth will be in charge for Saturday, it is imperative that we get clarity by the next league game after.

With Silva, Watford could end up giving us false encouragement and a deal could still fail, wasting even more time.

Can't really see any option now other than confirming either Unsworth or Silva within the next 7 days max.

What is clear is that the club haven't been in control of the situation, and that's been the case for weeks before Koeman was sacked.

We have had 2 months pretty much of this instability, lurching from game to game.

It is no way to run a Sunday league side, let alone a Premier League outfit with delusions of grandeur.
